Call for Technical Committee Members

Although the IJRU 2020 World Championships have been postponed, we are continuing to look to the future to provide our athletes with an amazing tournament.  

If you are interested in working with the IJRU Technical Committee to help develop and modify the rules, we are currently accepting applications for the IJRU Technical Committee in the following disciplines: 

  • Single Rope 

  • Double Dutch

Please complete the Technical Committee Application and submit it by email to tcom@ijru.sport by Friday, April 10, 2020.  

All applications will be reviewed by the IJRU Board of Directors. Only those under consideration will be contacted. 

Minimum qualifications 

In order to be a member of the IJRU Technical Committee, you need to be at least 21 years of age and have national or international experience in one of the following areas: 

  • Judge 

  • Tournament Director 

  • Technical Director 

  • Coach 

  • Athlete 

  • Volunteer 

Please note 

Technical Committee members don’t represent their National Governing Body. Instead, they act as an IJRU official representative from a particular country.  

Position details 

As a member of the IJRU Technical Committee, you are responsible for attending bi-weekly meetings via Microsoft Teams to discuss the rules of the sport of jump rope/rope skipping.
